![]() ![]() Touchscreen, backlit, 32GB, Ryzen 7, 8 cores. No battery saving setting in BIOS or Windows. I have another newer HP Envy x360, BIOS F.08. I've set the Windows power settings to shut down way before that happens. ![]() The biggest issue with this PC in that regard is that if the charger falls out, which it can, and the battery drains to 0%, there's no CMOS battery so the whole system is messed up for a while after charging and takes time to get back to normal. Fortunately for me the battery life doesn't matter a lot as I'm always near a charger. I think I already replaced the battery once and have a backup battery waiting to be installed. I'm very guilty of leaving it plugged in all the time and the battery life on it after a few years is bad. The only BIOS Battery setting is related to reporting Battery % vs Time Remaining from BIOS to the OS. On this HP Envy x360, BIOS version F.47, there is no Battery Care setting. ![]()
